Ludacris Joins Volunteers at Atlanta’s Venetian Hills Elementary

Multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY® award winning rapper and actor, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges joined more than 100 volunteers from UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group company today, for a day of service at the Venetian Hills Elementary School as part of a larger effort within the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s iParticipate and United Healthcare’s Do Good. Live Well campaigns.
Atlanta native Ludacris, founder of the Ludacris Foundation, which inspires youth through education and memorable experiences to live their dreams, joined his fellow volunteers in a playground build organized by national nonprofit organization KaBOOM!. The build gave students at Venetian Hills their first playground at the school in 15 years.
With recent reports indicating that volunteering is good for your health, the “Do Good. Live Well.” campaign is collaborating with the EIF to help launch a new era of service and inspire more people to volunteer.
